Rhyd Broughton Veterinary Group is a multi-species practice (cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and hamsters) offering routine care plus a boarding cattery, with Cat Friendly Clinic Silver status. Reviews repeatedly mention easy access to appointments when pets are unwell (including one case where reception booked two alternatives) and clear explanations of “what is happening and the options available,” including in emergencies. Out-of-hours visits are specifically referenced, including end-of-life care where owners felt euthanasia was “absolutely the right decision” and described staff support as exemplary. Owners also mention a paid “pets health club” membership that includes consultations.

Great rapport with my dog. Very calming attitude as well as very informative. He had his jabs but didn't flinch. Cost wasn't too bad either.

Since joining the vets when we welcomed little koji to our family they have been really reliable, we also have pets health club which I highly recommend. Take any financial pressure off visiting the vets as consultions are included. Koji has a upset stomach and we get him into the vets straight away and had an appointment with an extremely lovely women (I didn’t grab her name) but she was absolutely amazing with Koji and completely reassured me that he is healthy and well. Overall a really caring veterinary practice

Luckily was sent to this practice (out of hours) on two occasions over the last two years. Both times my very elderly dogs had to be put to sleep. Absolutely the right decision. The care of the staff was so exemplary that I decided to move over to them permanently. Even though it’s a half hour drive, it 100% worth it.

We’ve been with Rhyd Broughton for 7 years now, and they have been excellent every time we have needed them. All the vets we’ve seen have been wonderful with our cats through regular checkups and emergencies, explaining what is happening and the options available. Would and do recommend to anyone!

This vets is great when you arrive the receptionist always give you a lovely welcome and are always helpful. My little Mickey is really complex so we always see Laura she is fantastic she goes out of her way for him and really understands his issues I can't praise her enough. We have been coming to this vets when it was still Harringtons and wouldn't go anywhere else
